Can overthinking be sinful?

The wise man say: "One must always be truthful to self".

As long as the sin doesn't transform to action or express out then it should be okay, right?

In reality no one will sympathise on the consequence of one being or been sinful.

Hence it would be better to keep all sinful thoughts to self so nobody will be harmed in any way, except to the oneself.

Sadly, it could hurt and/or causes anxiety to the oneself when thoughts are not expressed freely or cleared.

Stubborn, yea? I don't know, too. Most likely?

If life were predictable, it would cease to be life, and be without flavor. -Eleanor Roosevelt-
